As we look back at 2025, one theme stood out across healthcare, colleges & universities, vending, and hospitality: snacking continues to be one of the most consistent profit drivers in foodservice. Individually wrapped, recognizable snacks performed exceptionally well—thanks to their versatility, portability, and wide consumer appeal.

Customers visiting food trucks, whether on their lunch breaks or as a midnight snack, are looking for a few simple things: quick service, convenience and delicious flavor.

While we always hear about  how busy adults are, students also have packed schedules and at some point, they must make time to eat. That’s where the trusty vending machine comes in.

Life is busy, and sometimes it’s difficult to factor in meals when you’re rushing around from one place to another.

By 2023, Millennials (26 - 41 years old) will make up nearly half (46%) of our workforce (1). Each generation has its own characteristics, but because of their sheer size, Millennials are greatly impacting the way American retailers and restaurants sell and market food products.
